my attempt at converting an anime character into a Disney character.....and the character of the day:
Belldandy, from Aah! Megami-sama -------------------------------  is having a contest of sorts to see who can create an anime character a la Disney animation.when the contest was being pondered, i immediately thought of Belldandy, since, in my twisted mind, the story of her and Keiichi would make a rather nice and interesting Disney story  ------------------------------- sketched and painted in Adobe Photoshop CS time to create--start to finish--five hours (this includes the fifteen minutes where i threatened photoshop after it crashed while i was in the process of saving this piece when it was 50% completed.....stupid photoshop....why can't it have an auto-save like Painter?!) ------------------------------ concept and inspiration for piece - Belle from Beauty & the Beast - property of Disney Belldandy - Aah! Megami-sama - Kosuke Fujishima |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments. The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art.
